PUKEKOHE BATTERIES & RADIATORS

Tony Watts and his wife Janet-Davies Watts are the owners of Pukekohe Batteries and Radiators Ltd 2008, (PBR for short!). 

Tony is a mechanical engineer by trade with over 30 years’ experience in automotive, agricultural and heavy equipment engineering. Back in 2008, he decided to move out of heavy machinery and focus on creating a one stop shop – a full mechanical workshop that not only repairs and replaces radiators, but offers a complete automotive service.
Janet is responsible for the accounts and office management and enjoys the one to one contact they have with their customers and the greater Pukekohe community.

Whether it’s a vintage Cadillac or a late model Lexus, Tony has a reputation for being able to sort out his customers’ automotive problems, honestly and efficiently, using superior products backed by ADRAD’s nationwide guarantee.

Tony and Janet have two sons, William (19) a mechanically minded Unitech student who can be found in the workshop during uni breaks, and Joseph (15) who plans to be a sports therapist.

As busy as they are, the family are active participants in the now famous ‘Lawnmower Race’, a bi-annual neighbourhood event that apparently rivals all the drama and excitement of the nearby raceway.

Great work stories? One morning Tony and Janet arrived at work to find three cars parked in the forecourt – a Mustang, an RX7 and a Ferrari – and all the keys were poked in the mail slot. Now that’s trust!
